Of course we booked this a year ago with points not knowing the weather outlook this year - weather next week looks rainy and windy the entire trip, trying not to worry or panic given everything I've read about forecasts changing....we thought we'd be safe going in October :(
Looking for advice - parent lives alone and dealing with pain/mobility issues, and no longer wants to drive. Monthly SS/pension income is enough to live off of day to day but there is no plan, savings of any kind or $$ for any long term care, assisted living, home health care, etc.
Historically if there's any issue regardless of urgency they just call one of the adult kids. The parent says there are no other options for people to call because they are all alone...what to do??? How do you juggle this while also raising your own family???
