Why on this specific Saturday am I stuck with the worst person ever?
To start off, this is just a rant my sher-monkies, just frustrations.
First off, I’m working with the worst mt ever, or sorry our new assistant manager. He’s got a good work ethic, but everything else sucks. He doesn’t manage his time here properly, he’s acted as a color consultant for half an hour while I helped 5 people back to back (big $500 contractor orders), has a unhealthy obsession to being liked, self inserts himself to a lot, question senior employees on the way they handle situations even though we’ve been doing it properly for years, he drags on convos with the customers just to have lines be backed up, and is acting all uppity to employees who have worked 5 times as much as he has. Definitely a character and has the need to inform people on matters they informed him about as if we didn’t know it. That’s just the start of the rant, and the half an hour color consultant shit was today and I can hear him talking about admiring women’s clothing and how they design their shit.
Next the customers, just pure rage bait. One dude wanted me to force an ultra deep color onto primer, closest we can do is deep base but he wants a quart so I have to explain to him that it cannot be done. I show him the colors I can do (p1 to p6) and tries for p6. So have to explain the same thing, AGAIN. Next person asked the difference between the regular colors and designer colors, explained designer is just for higher end products essentially so they do cost most to have done in paints, compared to regular. After making that clear and as simple as possible, he hits me with the “huh? What was the difference?” And I reexplained everything, only for them to get the idea. Sometimes the weekends being in customers that, as morbo would say “are belligerent and numerous.”
But so far that’s it for me, rant over. If y’all want, tell me how your Saturday is going and I would love to compare headaches, mine may not seem so bad at first but who knows. Love you sher-nation and god do I already have a headache 3 hours in.
