Phantom Blindspot warning fix
Been dealing with Phantom Blindspot warnings on my passenger side for the past year. Have taken in my cx70 multiple times, each time a software update was done, yet never corrected the issue. Finally a few weeks ago, I finally went to the service advisor ive been dealing with, with videos of the issue happening since they could never replicate the issue. Service advisor got snippy with my saying they'd never be able to diagnose since it only happens above 70mph on my car and the nearest highway to the dealership has a 65mph speed limit and that he cant ask his techs to break the law. Had to snap back at him and ask if I needed to schedule an appointment elsewhere near a 70mph highway or if he'd stop being lazy and call tech line as this is a common issue. Finally agreed to hang onto the car and put me in a loaner. Tech line had the solution of course, driven 1000+ miles since the repair, and no false alerts!
