‘Todz Pub’ looked great on Instagram, until we actually went there

So a group of us decided to try Todz Pub after constantly seeing it all over Instagram. Influencers made it look like one of the best spots in Bangalore, so we thought why not.
We got there, sat down, and the first thing we noticed was the plates were literally dusty. Like visibly dusty. We ended up wiping them ourselves because nobody seemed to care.
Anyway, we placed our order and the waiter confidently told us it would take “just 20 minutes.”
20 minutes became 45.
45 became 1 hour.
Then almost 2 hours.
And the funniest part? Not even peanut masala came to the table. PEANUT MASALA. How does that take 2 hours?
At first we thought maybe only our table was having issues, but then we started noticing the entire place was frustrated. Every table around us was complaining about either not getting their food at all or getting dishes they never ordered. People were visibly irritated and confused, waiters were running around clueless, and there seemed to be zero coordination.
After waiting forever, we finally spoke to the owner hoping at least he’d handle things professionally. Instead, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like we were the problem for asking about food after waiting nearly 2 hours. He straight up told us we could either wait another hour or leave.
At that point it became less about the delay and more about how badly customers were being treated.
Honestly felt like all the effort goes into Instagram marketing and influencer promotions while actual customer experience is completely ignored.
Just posting this so others don’t fall for the hype like we did.
