Guerilla Diner Smashed It!!

Somehow got another slot for me for today evening; Guerilla Diner is WORTH THE HYPE!!

Best Smash Burgers in Bangalore. The quality of meat is great here even if its buff (apparently)

Had informed that I wanted less salt on both burgers and they obliged.

  1. Vanilla Milkshake: Good. 8/10. Quantity again, a bit of a bummer imo..
  2. Oklahoma Onion Smash: Amazing. Perfect blend of onions, meat and pickles. Took a single patty that had the right meat:bun ratio. Soft butter galzed bun. 10/10!!
  3. The Purist: Simple meat, cheese and onions but somehow it had pickles (was not supposed to) and bun was tad bit dry. 8/10 nonetheless
  4. Apple Pie: Looked appetizing but did not hit the spot. 6/10

Final: From previous review; I am yet to visit Smash Guys (don’t think they would be able to match up). Burgery In don’t have anything on them for now. Should visit Beyondburg again to see if they hold up.

This be the best place for Smash Burgers in Bangalore. PERIOD!! Don’t give up and make them reservations!!

Hello Reddit! We’re excited to be here for our very first AMA from Fabelle Master Chocolatiers.

We’ve recently launched our new 64% Dark Chocolate range!! Namely the Cranberry Noir, Orange Eclipse and No added Sugar Dark Bars.

At Fabelle, chocolate-making is deeply rooted in craftsmanship. Our chocolates are handcrafted using single-origin cocoa and undergo hours of conching to develop depth, balance, and smoothness. We also work with a finely refined particle size to create the silky texture that defines premium dark chocolate.

We’ve been wanting to come onto Reddit for a while and have honest conversations about chocolate with people who are genuinely curious about the craft behind it.

So whether you want to ask about dark chocolate, cocoa origins, the making process, flavour profiles, pairings, availability, or anything about Fabelle, we’re here for it.

AMA!

Bangalore - Need people to bulk buy blueberries for cheaper price (around 50% off)

Last month, I purchased "Frugivore frozen blueberries" along with a community of people in Bangalore. We got more than 50% discount on retail MRP price and the quality was really really good and the best. We all are planning Round 2 of purchase this month and we need more people to collaborate with us in this. Our last order was a total of 63 kgs and for round 2 by far we have 30 kg demand. Looking for some more people to join us in this, so we atleast cross 50 kg milestone and place another similar order.
We handle this in a WhatsApp group - if you are interested, you can DM me or add a comment. I'll be happy to share the invite link. I live in Indiranagar - thus people nearby collected from my place - either self-pickup or porter/dunzo. In first group purchase it was delivered in 4 areas of BLR -> Indiranagar, HSR Layout, Jayanagar and Whitefield.

Also, adding some pictures from the last group purchase here.

Anyone experienced food poisoning after eating at Babai Tiffins HSR recently?

Hi everyone,

I would like to check if anyone else experienced similar health issues after eating at Babai Tiffins, HSR Layout.

On May 11th, my friend and I had both lunch and dinner there. For lunch, we had muddapappu avakaya rice, and for dinner, we had punugulu, upma, and ghee podi masala dosa. Early the next morning, we both started experiencing vomiting, motions, stomach pain, and severe weakness, which felt like food poisoning. My friend also had similar symptoms.

Although the vomiting and weakness reduced after a couple of days, it has now been around 10 days and we are still having motions, bloating, and stomach discomfort, which feels like a gut infection or lingering food poisoning.

I want to clarify that I am not posting this to criticize or backlash Babai Tiffins. I am actually a regular customer, and it has always been one of my preferred places to eat. I simply wanted to know if anyone else faced similar issues around the same time after eating there.

Help me finalize an authentic Japanese Cuisine Restaurant for Ramen and, one or two appetizers. Read below for more context-

I've researched a bunch of places and idk which one to pick. My friend suggested Neon Market. But, the negative comments and their netflix worthy arrogant response made me forget about it. And not to mention, they've some amount fixed for entry.

And then, Azuki or Naru is overrated/hard-to-book.

I've come down to Harima, Matsuri and Daily Sushi.

There's always someone saying something in the reviews that makes me reconsider everything I've researched upon. Daily sushi for example- many praised its pork tonkatsu ramen and then there's one saying how it's not authentic and and broth was terrible and the pork was chewy and so on. Another comment said 'Chicken katsu curry is nothing but maagi masala powder'.

It doesn't have to be a japan-to-Blr-flown-authentic-ramen amount of authenticity but, something nice, something close. We're just visiting Blr for two weeks and, the idea of wasting thousands on a mediocre food is making me step back from it altogether.

I saw other reddit posts and they again have 50 different recommendations. I understand, taste is subjective but, anything delicious, decent enough to give ramen vibes would help. We both love spice as well as the bland savory (OG Indomie for example. It ain't spicy but, we loved it). I'm not sure what more I gotta explain but, yea. Just looking for one nice place to decide on and have a nice bowl of ramen and have a smile at the end.

Also, if the place you're recommending needs reservations or has any other quirks/rules (like Neon Market's minimum entry amount), please lmk. Thanks yall!

Anyone else finding it hard to find "normal" and not "high protein" "no sugar" snacks anymore?

Let me begin by saying that I'm a fit and lean person whose idea of a treat is just a nibble of a chocolate or an ice cream. That's not self control, that's just how much I crave for it. But when I do, I do want a proper treat, not the no-sugar nonsense. Few days ago I was craving for a simple orange popsicle from Kwality Walls and to my dismay I can't find it on any of the delivery apps or even the store downstairs. Today I wanted to order a normal "Pav" and the only options I could find were whole wheat on Amazon Now.

I believe in eating tasty stuff but in moderation. I feel that due to this whole "Health conscious" culture in everything , I may not be able to find the indulgent stuff eventually. Anyone else feels the same or is it just me?

College student here ; dad’s visiting Bangalore for the first time. Is Barbeque Nation Indiranagar worth taking him to?

I'm a college student. He’s here for a couple of days and I’ve heard the Indiranagar outlet is pretty good. Wanted to know if it’s actually worth it or if there are better places nearby for a nice dinner.

Fast food places with Calorie information in Bangalore

I'm on my weight loss journey now and some days I know I won't be able to stick to my diet properly. During those days I tend to order something online or takeaway from a Fast food place. But accurately calculating calories for all that is hard, so i was wondering if there are any places in Bangalore where they mention calories of the food in the menu.

Having few go to meals while having a rough day helps a lot.

If you guys have any low calorie jugaad which you implement living in Bangalore for your fitness journey, you can comment that too !

Thanks in Advance.

Day 5 Update: Our first Sunday was absolutely wild! (Thank you, Reddit foodies! ❤️)

Hey everyone,

It is Day 5 since we opened, and our very first Sunday is officially in the books. To be honest, we just sat down to catch our breath and finally get a bite to eat.

First off, a massive, heartfelt thank you to the Reddit community. We saw your notes on the Zomato and Swiggy orders saying "I'm from Reddit!" and it honestly put the biggest smiles on our faces. As promised, we made sure to slip an extra packet of starters into every single order that mentioned the community. We really hope we kept our promise well!

If you ordered from us today, please let us know how the food was! Drop a comment, DM us, or give us your honest feedback, we want to know how you enjoyed your meal today so we can keep improving.

Funny story from today is we completely underestimated Sunday hunger. Our first batch of Biryani was wiped out by 12:30 PM! We did not expect orders to fly out that fast, so we had to scramble and pull off a second massive batch on the fly to keep up.

Right now, things have finally slowed down, and we are just relaxing. Look what my chef just whipped up for my post-rush meal: Chicken Gravy. 🤤

How many of you want a bite of this? Let’s share!

If you want to check us out, we are listed on Swiggy and Zomato as New Cherry Family Restaurant, Immidahalli Circle, Whitefield.

Thank you all again for the incredible love and support. You made our first Sunday unforgettable! ❤️

Find the Pizza 4ps scarcity marketing disgusting

I live near pizza 4ps . I see them decline walkins even though tables are available. Heck even seen them reject reservations on pretext of not having tables . One time I just walked in and i saw there were empty table on every floor yet they were not letting people in . While food is good this is quite disgusting a tactic

‘Todz Pub’ looked great on Instagram, until we actually went there

So a group of us decided to try Todz Pub after constantly seeing it all over Instagram. Influencers made it look like one of the best spots in Bangalore, so we thought why not.
We got there, sat down, and the first thing we noticed was the plates were literally dusty. Like visibly dusty. We ended up wiping them ourselves because nobody seemed to care.
Anyway, we placed our order and the waiter confidently told us it would take “just 20 minutes.”
20 minutes became 45.
45 became 1 hour.
Then almost 2 hours.
And the funniest part? Not even peanut masala came to the table. PEANUT MASALA. How does that take 2 hours?
At first we thought maybe only our table was having issues, but then we started noticing the entire place was frustrated. Every table around us was complaining about either not getting their food at all or getting dishes they never ordered. People were visibly irritated and confused, waiters were running around clueless, and there seemed to be zero coordination.
After waiting forever, we finally spoke to the owner hoping at least he’d handle things professionally. Instead, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like we were the problem for asking about food after waiting nearly 2 hours. He straight up told us we could either wait another hour or leave.
At that point it became less about the delay and more about how badly customers were being treated.
Honestly felt like all the effort goes into Instagram marketing and influencer promotions while actual customer experience is completely ignored.
Just posting this so others don’t fall for the hype like we did.

Once u taste it, u will never go back! The og south Indian cafe, RAMESHWARAM!!

Living in bangalore, I have the access to the best dosa's. And not just this cafe, but across the city there are many many old and authentic south Indian restaurants. Rameshwaram is one of the most famous because of its unique taste, tasty items and main the hygiene. This cafe got so famous that now, Rameshwaram is open to many other cities across India. And who doesn't like their podi idly or masala dosa or puliogre and soo on... their taste is breathtaking and after each bite u will feel a wow and automatically ur eyes will close and u will enjoy its flavourful taste. I like all their menu but podi idly has to be my favorite. What are u thoughts about this place.

But i personally didn't like their aamras that much but otherwise its a 9/10 🌟
