Image 1 — Subko didn’t use my name.
Image 2 — Subko didn’t use my name.

Subko didn’t use my name.

Subko didn’t use my name. They used my body to describe me.

I went to Subko The Craftery, ordered my food, paid my bill, and later looked at the receipt.

Under Customer Detail, instead of my name, I found:
“Little fat black shirt.”
Yes. That was apparently enough to identify me.
Not my name.
Not “the gentleman at table 12.”
Not even a simple order number.

What makes this worse is that someone had to consciously type that into their system. Someone looked at a customer and reduced him to “fat” because apparently basic dignity wasn’t part of the service.

If this were a woman and the receipt described her body instead of using her name,

I doubt anyone would call it a harmless joke.

Body-shaming isn’t funny just because the person on the receiving end is a man.

Subko, your staff can identify customers without humiliating them. Do better.

Looking for a nice lunch spot to take my parents 🍽️

Planning to take my parents out for lunch and looking for some good recommendations in Bangalore.

Looking for a place with not too spicy, balanced, authentic flavours, good-quality food (not just fancy presentation), nice, relaxed vibes where we can sit and enjoy lunch.

Preferably somewhere in East or Central Bangalore.

EDIT: Vegetarian Indian food

Made some Breakfast/lunch pockets for myself today.

Tried few pockets for breakfast and lunch fresh made and using wheet flour, pan toasted and 2 filling veggie and paneer for the day. Been thinking of doing it for long and found it to be incredibly fast to make and be ready as well on side. Will Improve on the cooking techniques though maybe like a lid covered pan cooking for better evenly cooking but was worried about it getting soggy.

So will experiment and see on weekend and share with colleagues to see what they feel.

Have 2 sauce cheese and ketchup will make home made butter spread for it over time and update.

What's your opinion [don't worry about the folding and asthetic will fix it soon] would you try have it if there were options like chicken, mutton, mushrooms, etc in the options if it was available to grab and run for office?

Maybe not for people who have smoothies or keep away from flour and only need protein. And no carb or whatever they call it I don't know. Let me know your thoughts.

Farewell cake turned out to be a meme scenario

ordered this black forest cake from Bakingo for my friend who's going abroad for her studies. we had a great laugh about it. i don't think the person who wrote it has ever heard of the word godspeed so I didn't bother complaining about it.

but the cake was horrendous though, the cherries were rancid. we had to throw the cake just after the first slice. so if not for this funny thing we would've been even more mad. but then again there was an offer and we got it for 400 something rupees, and for half kg we thought that was a steal.

My first visit to Pizza 4p's - Indiranagar

I have been seeing posts on this sub and reels of this place and I was genuinely very keen on trying out. So my wife and I decided last night to try our luck, visiting this place at Indiranagar, without any reservations. Luckily, we managed to get a seat after waiting for 30 mins.

My experience :

Veg salad burrata and Mushroom pizza = Excellent

Garlic Bread with Boursin = Good

Tiramisu = Average (i have had better ones before)

Shoutout to the staff, they are really kind and welcoming. Since it was our first visit, they gave us a complimentary Frozen Yogurt.

Do we get pizzas of similar quality in other places? Definitely!!!

I also noticed some tables being empty even when there were people waiting to get in. That didn't sit right with me.

Bill was Rs. 1800 for two people..

Bengaluru, I need your honest feedback about The Burgery In

Hi, I am Nizar, founder of The Burgery In.
I have been reading the discussions about us here lately, including the good ones and the not so good ones. I understand some of the criticism, and there are also a few things I may not completely agree with. But rather than making assumptions, I thought it would be better to come here and listen directly.
If you have visited our Bengaluru outlet, I would genuinely like to know about your experience. What did you enjoy? What disappointed you? And most importantly, what do you think we need to improve?
It could be the burgers, pricing, portions, service, waiting time, packaging, consistency, or anything else.
I am not here to promote the restaurant, argue with anyone, or convince you that we are perfect. I genuinely want to understand what Bengaluru customers think and take useful feedback back to my team.
Feel free to be honest. I am listening. 😂

Travelled till Yelahanka for DMART Pizza.

All this for 150 and starting price is just 100.

Looks like the amount I paid went straight into the ingredients.

Since it was also a pizza made from dough, this easily beats Dominos or pizzahut

In picture: paneer paprika pizza from DMART Yelahanka.

It was probably better enjoyed fresh, id kept the box vertically in my scooter when it was fresh and travelled

5km back home to eat it.

Best prawn biryani in Bangalore

I’ve only had prawn biryani at Meghana in Sarjapur Road. I found it very interesting, but too few prawns and a lot of rice.

What is the best prawn biryani as per you and why? I tried searching in the subreddit but no answers to my question.

Where can I find good cannoli in Bangalore?

I like trying new food items and cannoli has been on my list of desserts to try for a while now. I recently found out Spettacolare in Indiranagar has cannoli so tried it but it was kinda underwhelming. Any idea where I can find decent cannoli?
