Udemy courses for GMAT Focus, worth it?

Linked my original post above. Quick update: got diagnosed with ADHD, now medicated, employed full time, and actually ready to prep properly this time.

Retake planned for late August.

Targeting 705+. Still can't afford another structured coaching program.

My 595 scores were 43rd percentile Quant, 66th Verbal, 89th DI, but honestly those numbers are misleading. I did significant guesswork throughout, so I wouldn't call Verbal or DI "solved." In the brief stretches I actually prepped consistently, I felt most comfortable with Quant improving first, then DI, then Verbal felt the shakiest under real prep conditions.

So the whole test needs work, but Quant is where I want to start since it feels most responsive to study.

OG 2024-25 in hand, official mocks available. Looking at Udemy as a budget supplement specifically for Quant foundations.

Anyone used Udemy for GMAT Focus Edition? Which instructors are actually good? Open to other budget-friendly resources too.

I'm aware of ADHD accomodations and will definitely look into it, but need guidance for prep nonetheless

Thank you,

Grateful for this community!!

This little bottle might've just changed my life

Been trying to cut sugar but stevia's aftertaste was killing me. Took a chance on Sweet Mate Monkfruit Drops from Zepto (₹339) and mixed it into some Greek yoghurt.

Honestly couldn't tell the difference from sugar. No bitterness, no weird chemical finish, just clean sweetness. Really didn't expect this from a drop sweetener at this price point.

Not sponsored, just a pleasant surprise worth sharing 😄

Save your money honestly 😬

After all the good things i heard about kewpie mayo , finally bought it.

And i have to say, it's nothing special 😐, if you really try, it's a bit creamier and a bit acidic, but nothing to rave about, and definitely not worth the price.

If anyone has tried hellmans mayo (the one with egg), lmk how it is

Urban Platter Shirataki Noodles — Honest Review

Tried the Urban Platter Shirataki Noodles this week. Here's the full breakdown.

What I made:

1 pack noodles, 200g mushroom, 1 capsicum, 1 carrot, 1 onion, salt, white pepper — and here's the hack: 1 sachet of Maggi Spicy Cheezy seasoning (because there's genuinely no way I'm eating that monstrosity in one actual Maggi). Also threw in a little Wow Momo chutney — bad move, made it a touch too spicy. Still tolerable, but be careful with that one.

The good:

The volume is insane for the calories. The entire portion in the pic was under 400 kcal — I used maybe 1.5 tbsp oil, the rest is just vegetables, and the noodles themselves are only 22 calories. For calorie counters this is genuinely useful. Also, the noodles came out of the packet separate and non-sticky, which I wasn't expecting. No clumping, no rinsing nightmare.

The meh:

Texture is too bouncy. Like, weirdly chewy in a way that takes getting used to — had a little trouble actually biting through them. Taste is completely neutral, it just takes on whatever you cook it with, which is fine but don't expect anything from the noodle itself.

The ugly:

₹180 for a 200g serving (after draining and rinsing). That's the real conversation. It's not outrageous if you're serious about hitting volume on low calories, but it's not cheap either. I'll probably do this once or twice a month, not a weekly thing.

Verdict: 3/5

Minus 1 for the price, minus 1 for the texture. Solid option if the budget allows and you're watching calories. Not a regular staple.
