Hey folks, I am at the toit right now and I need to take the airport bus at 8:30. Which bus stop will be closest for me?

I recently shifted to Bangalore and have been looking to rent a 2BHK in Indiranagar, especially around the New Tippasandra side. Honestly, I completely fell in love with the area, the walkable lanes, local markets, cafés, and overall vibe feel very livable compared to a lot of other parts of Bangalore.

Me and my girlfriend have been hunting for a decent apartment here for the last couple of weeks, but it’s been very hard to find something that feels worth the money. Most decent places are already upwards of 40k + maintenance, and even then they’re missing basic things we wanted like: a proper open balcony, good bathrooms, modular kitchen, enough ventilation/sunlight.

We finally found an apartment that has all these, It’s in a recently built standalone building with lift, security, and power backup, and the flat itself is nice.

The problem is the price: it’s 60k including maintenance, with a 6 month deposit. Even after negotiation, I think it may only come down to around 55-57k and maybe 2-3 months deposit.

Wanted to ask people familiar with the area if this is the actual market rate now for a good/new 2BHK in New Tippasandra/Indiranagar? Or are we getting carried away because we finally found a place we like after weeks of searching?

Indiranagar is one of those rare parts of Bengaluru that people travel to willingly. The audience we want is almost certainly already here on a Saturday morning. The problem is just being visible to them.

Here is what we tried.

Meta suspended our account mid-campaign. They are notorious to be unreliable. They confirmed it was their mistake. They said the appeal option would appear. It has not appeared in weeks. That channel is just gone for now.

Jio ads start at ₹30,000. Not where we are right now, especially after the margins conversation from post two.

We walked the streets and noticed poster after poster on every pole and surface. We had read that that is illegal in Bengaluru so we walked past all of it and did nothing. Very law abiding of us.

So here we are being fully transparent about it, and genuinely asking: if you were trying to reach the right people here, what would you do? And how would you reach the right people? We've poured loads of heart into this session and truly believe in its worth.

About the session: We're hosting The Grounding Room this Saturday, 30th May, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Grumpy Girl Coffee. Two hours. Rooted in neuroscience and psychology. Conversations, art, community, and good energy. ₹899 general / ₹799 students. Includes a cafe coupon and a shared snack.

As the title says, looking for recommendations of cafes where I can read on weekends Ideally in and around Indiranagar, but don't mind traveling a bit

Weekend bit is important because some of the nicest places (like copper and cloves) get too crowded to read on Saturday/Sunday

PS. Bonus if it's pet friendly

Why there is frequent power cuts recently in Indiranagar annereddypalya side , feels like staying in some village area😭,is there any way to contact electricity board or service centre

It rained for 10 minutes but they’ve removed electricity for nearly 2 hours.

I’ve dialled the 1912 folks several times. It never connects😫🤚🏻

So called IT hub without electricity.⚡️ There is only information no technology.
