I’m a senior who has had acting manager roles for two years, and I found out last week that I didn’t get promoted.
While I knew this was a possibility and realize I have areas of growth and improvement, I feel so disappointed and upset about this decision. I’m tired of being a senior and feeling ignored compared to my peers.
I don’t know if this is due to economics or more specific factors, but I want to work somewhere that enables me to grow, and this decision makes me doubt that.
I’m having trouble moving forward on this and would appreciate insights.
