Now I undersyand why people rat and abuse meta

This is my first FC ever and since TOTY i've been getting 7-9 wins with occasionally 10 during WL, this week I magically got 12, packed red Pina, the adrenaline and dopamine I got from the games. I don't meta abuse, I play 41212 and use whoever I like, but now after experiencing what I did this weekend, I might have to switch up. I finally start to understand this game

I've played both PC and console this year, as I first bought it on PS5 and then switched over to PC. This is my first FIFA or FC and im currently div1 on PC and was div2 on console during trophy titans(haven't touched console since then). And now when I play mostly vs PC players and occasionally meet a console player, they are legit like NPCs. On PC I see wide spread of different teams and playstyles, if I don't focus too much on the gameplay, it is genuinely quite fun. However when I meet a console player, my god it's awful. Noone on console plays the game normally, all of them have these boring ahh meta teams, AI defend and abuse everything there is. Of course there are such PC players aswell, but honestly I don't see them. It feels like console players are some NPCs, whose brains cant function properly and all they can do is go on google/youtube, copy everything from a video that includes "FC and meta'' and then go proceed to sit on their midfielder and team press/spam offside traps. I played console only till FUT birthday, yes the gameplay is worse than PC, but my god are console players that unoriginal.
