Software engineer vs ServiceNow career

Looking for advice on which career path to take. Contemplating between SWE and SN.

About me: I have 4 years of software engineering experience, working in frontend (typescript, angular). I am not comfortable with backend if I were to be thrown into that but I have a loose understanding of .NET as that’s what my team used. I started learning ServiceNow beginning of year and still learning as I work with help from a senior dev. I want to switch jobs as I’m hoping to increase my salary and hoping to score a remote job. Basically I’m conflicted mainly due to the fact that the interview process for SWE is so difficult- competing with people much smarter than me and grinding leetcode for months seems like my worst nightmare. I was never good at comp sci tbh and the world of SWE is just endless learning and it’s loaded with smart people. Working in SN now, I don’t mind the work as it doesn’t seem that challenging, but im worried about the career growth in this industry, and the competition for jobs / availability for jobs. I have limited experience now, and no certifications, but if I continue working under the senior dev I could gain more and more knowledge. Let’s say I continue until end of year, that would give me 1 year of experience in SN, which I don’t know if that’s enough to score a high paying mid level remote job in SN.

Any advice or thoughts would be highly appreciated :)
