Incoming FY1, will be moving to Leeds. I will be working mostly in St James Hospital but also LGI. I was just wondering if anyone had advice on where to live in Leeds? I'm looking to live alone but still want to be social/live in an area where likely to be other doctors. I have been a few times but not super familiar with any of the areas. I have heard not to live near St James but not heard much more. I will not be getting a car and really don't want to get public transport/shuttle buses if I can avoid it. So looking to be within walking distance (20 mins ish) or cycle. Not sure what the latest time I will work but will walking from St James still be feasible at an odd hour? Is Leeds cycle friendly? Any advice is appreciated!
