You should always check your final grades as soon as they post, and not rely on canvas. But especially now with canvas being down. There's a distinct possibility that your instructors may submit final grades to UNT without updating Canvas due to the outage.

So if you get a grade you don't expect you should connect with your professor ASAP. If you can't submit something you needed to, connect ASAP.

There is also a chance that the posting of final grades may be delayed, as UNT may extend the grade submission deadline for professors as a result of this.

Also, a Z grade means the professor did not submit grades on time. Follow up with them or the department for the class if that happens.
