one of my cats has started on some medication for behavioral issues (i have two, both are on prozac) and he wasn’t a fan of the tablet in the pill pocket so i would cover it in a tuna treat and he would eat it. If he didn’t eat it, I would top it off with a squeezable treat and he would also then eat it.

Lately, he hasn’t been wanting to eat the pill pocket, even though he gets fed with a treat. He will eat around it and sometimes will pick it up and start chewing then spit it out. He did eat it a couple days ago but mainly has been him refusing to eat it for several days now. I even tried mixing it with his food and he did not fall for it.

I’ve had to resort to force feeding it to him, which I want to avoid doing and make it as easy as possible for both me and him. I had to try and force feed it to him today and was unsuccessful after four tries and will have to try again when I’m back home from a haircut.

Is there any advice/anything I could try doing to have him eat it ?
