Cat Change in Behavior
Hi everyone,
My cat is a few days away from turning 1 year old. However, I've noticed a sudden change in behavior. He has been hiding under my bed a lot more than usual, doesn't really touch his dry food, and his movements have just been slow and tired.
I have experienced this type of behavior in him before and I've taken him to the vet just for them to say he's fine, and after the visit he's suddenly behaving normally again. But he's been just acting sluggish lately and there hasn't really been as curious like normal. He mainly only gets out from under the bed just to sleep in the living room, use his litterbox, and pick at his dry food.
The only change is that I've gave him some wet food after a little travel day on Sunday but thats it.
I gave him some wet food a few months ago and wouldn't eat any of the dry food until I took him to the vet and then he started eating again. I'm wondering if it's just him being picky or if there's another issue.
I am worried that there is another issue but I don't want to go to the vet and drop a few hundred dollars just for them to say he's fine and him acting normally a few hours after the visit. If any experienced cat parents have experience in this, feedback would be much appreciated!
