Changing from Citalopran to Sertraline - emotional blunting experiences

Im on day 6 of 50mg of Sertraline. Changing straight over from 40mg of Citalopram.

I wondered if anyone has done that and what you experiences of the two were?

Id been on Citalopram for a good number of years, id been to the GP numerous times about apathy, and an all consuming "can't be arsed" feeling. Any free time I had was spent in bed either napping or doom scrolling. Not depressed, just no inclination to do anything else. Citalopram helped certainly with the depression, no more tears, intrusive thoughts or panic attacks. But, I was left feeling nothing, very meh.

Recently, Citalopram seems to have stopped working as well. Still have absolutely no inclination to do anything beyond dragging myself to work. But I noticed intrusive thoughts creeping back in, and I started to get the occasional panic attack.

So, Setraline it is now, which seems ok so far. Its only 50mg to start, which I understand is the lowest dose compared to the highest dose of Citalopram which I was on (40mg)

I was curious to hear about anyone else's experiences, especially if you've taken both these medications.

Im really hoping the Sertraline will reduce the emotional bunting, especially if im on a lower dose I can hopefully start to care about something. I dont feel depressed, but the problem is I dont feel anything. Hopefully i can find that sweet spot between not caring at all and caring too much!

How how others found it?
