Does anyone else feel like they waste too much time but still stay tired all day?
Lately I have noticed that even on days where I do almost nothing productive, I still feel mentally exhausted by the end of the day.
I spend hours scrolling, overthinking random things, switching between apps, watching videos, and somehow the whole day disappears. Then at night I feel guilty because I know I could do better.
The weird part is I genuinely want to improve my life, but I keep repeating the same cycle again and again.
Has anyone here actually managed to break out of this? What small habit genuinely helped you get your life together
At what salary did you finally start feeling financially “comfortable” in India?
Not rich, not luxury level just comfortable enough to not constantly think about expenses before spending.
I always thought crossing a certain salary would remove financial stress but every time income increases, expectations and expenses somehow increase too.
Wanted to know what number genuinely changed things for people here.
Every year I end up putting money into things like ELSS, PPF, etc. mainly to save tax but sometimes I wonder if I am just doing it out of habit without really thinking.
Like, is putting smaller amounts here and there actually meaningful over time, or should I be approaching this differently?
Curious how others think about this do you treat tax saving as a separate goal or just focus on overall investing and let taxes be secondary
I recently did a deep dive into my bank statements and realized half of my income goes into ghost subscriptions, ootd platform fees and convenience fees that I had just accepted as part of life. It was not the big purchases that were hurting me it was the lil charges that felt too small to care about individually.
What’s the one recurring expense you cut that made a surprising difference in your stress levels? Or conversely, what's a "hidden cost" of adulthood that no one warns you about until you're already paying for it?
