I had never heard of the Moorhouse street thing before today.

My parents lived on Moorhouse street when I was born and somehow I only learned about the murders today (I was born in the 2000s). I went down a rabbit hole searching it up and I just can’t believe it, you hear about these things on the news but it’s insane when it actually happens so close to you.

The house I lived in when I was born was literally next door to it as well. We only lived there for a year and half but still.

good ya historical fiction books?

i’m looking for some young adult historical fiction recs. i really want to read between shades of gray, but i’m a bit worried about it because i’m quite a sensitive person.
can anyone recommend me some books that are similar but maybe a little less intense? or let me know if you think i could be okay with between shades of gray as a sensitive reader.
