Good afternoon! I recently picked up some oil pastels after a long time and someone asked me to make them a piece (the work is Oil pastels - Sennelier & Ink - Liquitex) so I went ahead and bought some Fixative (Sennelier) and applied what I thought to be 4 thin coats over my work & even after a couple of days the surface feels slightly tacky, is this normal? Did I apply too much maybe 🤔 it’s not a big deal it was for a friend & no money was involved. Just wondering if it is normal & will dry out, I’ve never used anything like this before because no one has ever asked me for one so I was pretty excited to get it prepped for them & now I worry it will stick to the glass in the frame 🙏🏻
