LindonFinds: too good to be true?

ive got my school prom coming up and this dress right here is literally my DREAM dress. that being said, im skeptical about spending such a large sum of money on an item which i haven’t even tried on yet. so i look at the reviews, where 5 customers have attached photos of themselves in the dress. before AI, i’d be sold, but something feels inexplicably off…

the seller has been on etsy for 5 years, 3k+ sales, star seller badge, and 4.9 rating (which all sounds great!). but something feels off to me because every single review is 5 stars in the same extroverted tone and the product photos look a little too polished to be real.

the buyer review photos look genuine though — candid mirror selfies, real settings, and people seem happy with the fit when they gave custom measurements. reviews mention fast shipping too.

ships from china, ~USD$260, made to order in 8–15 days.

has anyone ordered from this shop or a similar chinese made-to-order dress seller on etsy? is this a normal pattern or should i be worried? would you buy?
