I see so many posts on here asking people how to marry Saudis. Don't get me wrong, love the people of Saud, I'm sure they make great spouses. But it seems so creepy to me to go after someone bc of their ethnicity.

Like if you meet a nice saudi guy/girl and you guys want to get married that's one thing. But to go hunting for someone specifically saudi? It gives me the creeps tbh. It feels like your intentions are not good if this is the top thing you are looking for.

How do you guys feel when people say these things?

Can I get an entry level position with noooo experience in biostats if I get a certificate?

Hello, I am a product manager who has previous experience in clinical and bio research. What I loved about both jobs was the data. Playing with data, showing what it represents, creating tables, and generally organizing information is something I just love.

Do you think this could convert to a career in bioinformatics? What advice would you give me? How is the job outlook? Whats the lifestyle like? I currently am fully remote, can I do that with bioinformatics?

I'm an American living in Saudi. I got my bachelors in America, but want to get my masters. I was thinking about applying to a Saudi university since I already have an American degree. I am thinking it will help me build connections here, and will make it easier for me to stay.

Many people have advised me against doing this, and have advised me to go abroad for my masters. but I don't want really want to live anywhere else. And I think meeting others in my field can be helpful when I go to look for jobs. Do you have any advice for me?
