Blinkit guy insisted that we had kept an extra item with us, asked to check our house. Is this a scam or what?
Today my parents ordered 3-4 things from blinkit. The delivery guy delivered our items. All items were there. After a few minutes, the guy came back again and said that there was an extra item (a biscuit pack) that was not on the item list and he had delivered it to us, he said that we might have accidentally kept it. My parents told him that we didn't get any extra item. He insisted. My parents then even showed him the blinkit packet and the items we ordered and even told him that we weren't hiding anything. My father even said that why would we keep a biscuit packet after receiving all of the other items?
Then my father said I'll give u the money of the biscuit packet and asked him how much was it for. He said he doesn't know. At this point my father was done with this situation so he gave him 200 rupees and told him to go. The guy still stood there and then said can I check your house (??????). My father by that point went to another room to pick up a call so my mother showed the delivery guy our fridge and even our kitchen cabinets. Then the delivery guy said to check our closet in the living room. By that time my father was in the living room and now he got a little mad that why do u have to check our entire house?? He said we even gave u the money, even though we don't know the exact amount. Then my father asked him how much money will blinkit cut from his salary because of this biscuit pack. He said 3000 (??? Is this true someone please let me know). My father just asked him to go.
What were we supposed to do in this situation????
