I just bought a brand new washer, a Maytag MTW4205SW and somehow the cheap plastic connection on the back has become cross threaded. I can't fasten the cold water hose to it. I'm certain this will be considered user error and I may have to order another inlet valve but every place online says it's no longer being manufactured! This is brand new! How could they just stop making parts for it? Anyway I'm trying to figure out my best course of action and I'm looking for advice.
