Hi I just moved to Oregon from California 3 months ago and insured my vehicle out here as of April 9th 2026. I also just recently registered my vehicle out here as of April 22nd 2026. I got a notice from CA DMV that my truck registration is suspended effective April 27th 2026 for the reason being that I dont have record of insurance as of the April 9th and that I'll owe $14 if i want to get it reinstated. I live in Oregon, have it registered and insured out here, and have my license out here. I'm not sure how to go about this or if this is something I can ignore. Is this something I can take care of at the OR DMV or will I need to take care of it in CA? I've been trying to get someone on the phone from the DMV with no luck :( Please help!!
