Unplugged an ssd mid format

Hello

I've got a customer that came to my shop with a \[HIKVISION E100 256GB SATA SSD\].

They said they were formatting it and accidentally unplugged the usb dongle that was connecting it to their laptop.

The drive seems to still be detectable by windows and linux, but any attempt to reformat, partition, or wipe the drive throws an error.

Asked Google Gemini about it and it said there still might be a way to at least revive the drive from it's "panic lock" mode.

Any idea on how this could be done?

Specs:

SSD Controller Chip: Yeestor YS9085N

NAND Flash Memory: Intel / Micron 3D TLC (N38A Generation)

Physical Board Routing Layout: Single-Channel, Dual-CE (2CE)
