Need help in getting a refund from a UK hotel
Hey guys! Southie here . I had booked a stay for my dad at "Hotel Heartwood City Corbett" (Ramnagar,UK) for a night's stay on the 18th of this month and had paid the full amount (a mistake on my behalf) . The plan to travel was cancelled and the same was informed to the hotel much prior to the checking in date. (The day after booking, within 24 hours)
Even though a partial refund was assured( on text and call), as days passed there was no response , and was left blank. After I called them from a different number, not only did he refuse to give a refund but also threatened " Refund kuch nhi hoga, Complaint karna hein tho karlo. Kuch nhi hoga hamein". Did give it back to him, strongly ,and ended with him asking for my qr code for a refund. Same story, ghosted, left blank,and no money received.
So, How do I get my money back ? Peeps who've faced a similar situation, how did you get yours back?
