am i eligible to be rehired now that a year has passed
in march 2025 i got terminated for time and attendance. specifically i was terminated for coming 5 min late to an opening shift, and being late other times prior (times in which i had called the sm in advance to let them know i would be running late) and those situations it was never past 10 min. while my manager was firing me he told me i can never work for sbux again because of this. i reported him to ethics and compliance for berating me during my termination and also for other instances where he would do shady stuff in store. a few weeks later ethics and compliance got back to me about appealing my termination but in all honesty i was at a very low point and thought it would be hopeless to even try to appeal it and didnt do it and now i have lost access to that ethics and compliance report. its been a year since then and im now trying to reapply for different stores in the district. a few months ago i heard that same exact manager that fired me is now the district manager. ive been applying to different stores anyway and i got immediately rejected from one and the other one completely ignored my application. its just really stressful because i dont know if im now not eligible to be rehired even though its been over a year and it was for an issue like time and attendance. i also dont know if its a situation where he has access now to that ethics report i made??? im just under a lot of stress its been really hard finding work and i was at sbux for a year and was really good at my job despite the month where i was late and got terminated
