Brother issues (???) Help/Advice
Hello reddit.. I am posting on here since I literally don't know where else to go for advice..I have an older brother (30years) and I am 17.. I literally don't know what to do anymore today was just something else so please not too much on my format...
basically I was on the phone (or on hold) with a doctor since they messed up some information before, and my brother has the horrible habit of BLASTING LOUD MUSIC on the speaker. My brother has NO job, NO wife, NO kids, NEVER finished high school and is ALWAYS on his game (MY PS5) NOTHING. That's the only reason he still lives with us. ANYWAYS, I proceed to leave my room and tell him I'm on the phone and if he can turn the music down since I won't be able to hear them??????!!!! He tells me he's not turning it down and that he's not going to listen to me while having this really big beer in his hand (so he's obviously intoxicated). But this phone call is really important since I need a new eye prescription since I CANT SEE so I just turn off his speaker and unplug it and obviously this gets him really mad. He tells me to just go to my room before it gets physical. But I'm not just going to go to my room when I know he's just going to blast his music again. So I take the speaker and take it outside but this is when he locks me out.. The speaker is not his, it belongs to my dad. So then I call my mom saying he won't let me back in the house unless I bring the speaker back and she's arguing with him saying to let him in since it's always the same thing. My brother ALWAYS blasts his music and is inconsiderate, since he blasts his music super loud when my mom is trying to sleep knowing that my mom only gets around 4-5 hours of sleep and works all day. Then he finally lets me in and his big belly is blocking the door so obviously I do a SMALL push since I'm 4'11 and 90 pounds. So imagine ME pushing a 5'3 guy who is overweight. So because of this he pushes me HARD and I fall on the floor, hurting my knee and hand since I tried to block my fall. Now I am in the room with the door locked, and I really don;t know what to do. My parents are too afraid to do anything since they know he has NOTHING.
