Hello everyone, I will be interning this summer from June 15th - August 22nd in the Eckington area. I am looking for a room/apartment and I do not mind if it is up to 30 mins on public transport since it is 3 days in office.

For a room - my budget is 1400
For an apartment - my budget is 2000 including utilities

Hi everyone,

I’m a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the U.S. and about 3 months of internship experience as a network engineer in Washington, DC at a F500 company.

I’m currently in Lebanon and not a U.S. citizen. Given the current situation here, I’m seriously considering pursuing a master’s degree in Canada as a pathway to eventually obtain permanent residency (PR).

I had a few questions:

• How realistic is it in 2026 to go from a Canadian master’s → Post-Graduation Work Permit → PR?
• Is this pathway still viable given recent immigration changes?
• Would my profile (CS degree + internship, but limited full-time experience) be competitive?

I’d really appreciate any insights, especially from people who went through this route recently.
