Did my first 10k!
I did my first 10k run last week in 1:13:29. I’m really happy to have made the distance, but it was a run-walk and I want to go faster and run the whole thing continuously! I have signed up for the London vitality 10,000 in September and wondered what sort of finish time is realistic to aim for. At the moment, my average 5K is around 33 minutes, with my fastest at 31 and I can run 5k continuously. Is it too ambitious to aim for between a 1 hour - 1:10 race in September?
