Graduate Student Research Project About Influencers - Anonymous Survey
Hi! I'm a graduate student at the University of Washington. I'm doing a research project that examines how and why audiences on Instagram lose trust in advice-based influencers.
The objective of this study is to help influencers develop strategies and make decisions that maintain their community of trusting followers. It will also help audiences who rely on influencers for guidance make critical choices about who is trustworthy and who they should unfollow. I myself am not an influencer but I do a lot freelance video editing for social media.
Anyone can participate in the study if they have ever unfollowed or lost interest in an influencer who educates and offers advice about at topic on Instagram.
No personally identifiable information about you will be collected. By participating you agree to have your responses used in a report that will be presented in a class at the University of Washington and submitted for a grade. After the class has ended, the survey data will be deleted.
