As mentioned in the title, I just started my remote internship and really want to take advantage of the free chair offer that comes after completing the ergonomics assessment. My current chair kinda (really) sucks when used for a full work day.

The biggest concern is my manager not being too fond of me asking for a chair as from what I understand it comes out of my assigned departments budget and I'm ultimately shooting for a return offer and wouldn't want this to hurt my chances. I also wouldn't mind a standing desk but seeing as I'm an intern that seems insane to ask for. Has anyone had a similar experience with this?
