Can't afford to rent anymore

So when I came to Cyprus in 2022, Paphos was still a bit empty and peacefull and rents were available. I unfortunately came before start of conflict, which was in 2022, then rents became more and more expensive

I could only lock in a 2 bedroom for 700 EUR in Paphos, however I lost my income and can't afford to rent it anymore

Now in Paphos, a peaceful town I can't even rent anything for 400-500 EUR anymore (not even studio that's possible, with rents at the beach going high as 750-850 for a single condo)

In Asia for reference, a lot of rents are about 200-300 EUR for a condo

Is there ever a chance Paphos gets cheap again so I can build my income back or are those times gone?

Don't do Reta without lifting weights.

A lot of progress pics you have seen everyone is bassicaly lifting weight AT LEAST 2-3x a week.

That said makes sense to take rest and lose weight great. But losing 50 pounds while losing some muscle on the way is a terrible strategy to be skinnyfat. Happened to me before. Obviously not medical advice and DYOR

Owning a property is best feeling ever.

You can't do it in Philippines but if you live here you can just rent property back home for 500-2k a month

Its litteraly best feeling ever to always have a backup plan - instead of renting for $200 and worrying if landlord will increase rent or add surcharges while the rent money dissapears into the void.

In West and Europe the property goes up in value

You can design it how you want it for a lifetime and leave a legacy

You can do the garden or have storage. With condos in Manila you don't even have a basement included or parking. That's why it would be much better to be able to buy houses or condo and just let them increase in value. Then you always have a base that you can return to
