Trying to get sales manger position at local dealer
Recently interviewed with recruiter for service advisor role, i have 6 years at a high end ppf, ceramic coating detail shop, doing sales and managing a team of 10, a ton if experience working on all models of Teslas. I deal with clients from the initial sale to pick up of the vehicle so i think i have the skills to really do this sales manager role well.
Recruiter said i might be a little overqualified and i would fit a management role better because they couldnt match a salary. I thought i did well on the phone interview and all i got was a email back a week later: salary couldnt be matched. I emailed back asking if she could consider me for my local Sales Manager role but idk if they can help me or i have to apply again.
Still no reply after 2 weeks, can recruiters recommend someone for a different role?
I reapplied on tesla app for this new role. Any tips? Really want to get in on a stable income sales manager role, wonder what salaries are at for this role?
Location: Los Angeles.
My current role is commission only, im having a kid and need something stable.
