Notice Period - Urgent

Happy Saturday. Stressed one for me. Thought I’d turn to Reddit for some urgent advice. i handed in my notice to leave ( 2 months notice) from July 6th which will take it up until Aug 7th. I’m the lead tenant on the agreement as i’ve been here for 4 years. A few days before the 7th, I called my estate agent and told them i’m having difficulties with my other accommodation and there will be a delay of a month. I asked if I could extend. they said yes but if the other tenant agrees. i asked my flatmate and he said he will think about it and a day after, he said no. I’m just stuck at the moment as I have over 48h to figure out what I’m going to do. I’ve sent an email to my estate agent on friday to see if they can keep me on for the temp month (i have the money for a whole months rent) but does anyone have any advise on this please?
