I TD a lot of events and the difference between "When do hole assignments come out?" Vs "So I guess we just arent getting hole assignments?!" is huge. When you get off the course after weedwacking, painting, flagging, moving baskets etc, when I have been out driving for a few hours picking up raffle items, when I was double and triple checking the caddie books and layout maps, it totally sucks to get home and see a message implying you arent working or doing a good job. Tournament directors are going to make mistakes, and they want to know so they can fix them. I like questions, that tells me you are interested in the event. So ask me a question but dont make a passive aggressive statement buried in a question.

TL:DR Tournament directors are likely working hard. Be nice and respectful

How far from your house are you willing to drive for a casual round of disc golf a few times a month?

Bought my first mystery box for a kit. Selected the World Cup Box with 2 jerseys for $125 (Had a discount code so paid a bit less). The value of the kits I got is like maybe $65. One of the kits is being sold on the Meyba website for $25. For sure gonna cancel if this is the value of the boxes. Even before the box showed up I tried to cancel. I messaged them and they just responded saying the box was close to being packed which is such a stupid non-answer. I am not expecting a pristine 2008 Barca jersey but also it shouldnt be a Pokemon pack where you have to get super lucky to get your value out of a pack.

I recently moved my thumb like 2 inches and added almost 60ft to my throw. I heard of a guy that started humming a song in his runup to get his timing right and it added a crazy amount of distance as well. Has anyone done anything super small that made a crazy change to their throw or putt?

Golf has the very notorious "slice" as the problem that almost every new/amateur player really struggles with. Even disc golf has something similar. I was wondering what you think the "slice" of pickleball could be?

Edit: I know there is a shot that is actually called a "slice". I am trying to get at the most common problem among newer/amateur players
