Violentmonkey isn't hosted by brave either. There's no clear, open source MV2 alternative to Violentmonkey yet.

For now, I have downloaded the .zip from Violentmonkey's github repo, extracted it and istalled using "Load Unpacked". But this is not a good solution as it doesn't support auto updating.
