Independence Day
It’s nearly the 4th of July. Wouldn’t it be grand if the Pokémon Box were found on this holiday? For some reason, a few random coincidences brought me back to New Orleans.
Louis Armstrong celebrated his birthday on July 4. Never mind that he was actually born in Aug. 4. The rest of us squares celebrate on our actual day of birth, but jazz cats like Armstrong love to break barriers.
A big celebration, Essence, is always celebrated in NOLA on this holiday weekend. Essence is actually a Black cultural festival, but Essence is also tied to Emeril Lagasse. He named a dry steak rub Essence. Kick it up a Notch! BAM!
Does anyone else think that there may be an emerald in the this box? Could notched letters be the essence of a hint?
- NASA Pathfinder landed on Mars on July 4,1996. The rover Sojourner was deployed. Sojourner was mentioned in the story. Seemed a bit odd.
Anyway, NOLA resident Harry Connick, Jr is in Independence Day. Reason enough to watch the film.
