Incoming grad student looking for housing

Hey guys! I am an incoming masters of accounting student at USC this fall. I have a couple questions/notes related to housing.

  1. Where do most business grad students stay? Is there any particular notable complex? It would be nice to be around students with a similar focus.

  2. Which are the safe areas and which are the areas to avoid? I read online, but the information presented can be quite confusing.

  3. If you still need a roommate or looking to fill a spot, then please reach out to me! I am friendly, down to earth, clean, and quiet. Also if u just wanna be friends pls pm me!

Grades issue

Hey guys. I am currently an audit intern, graduated college in may 2026. I ended with a 3.6 overall gpa, and a 3.3 major gpa. However, I got a C in two accounting courses since they were very rough.

As the firm looks towards my full time offer, they are asking me to explain why I got Cs. Am I cooked for the return offer?

I know this is going to offend many of you and I don’t care. If you are a real one you will understand.

It’s very simple, Indians in the United States get the worst of everything.

- They are not white, so they do not get any sort of privilege associated with being white.

- When it comes to DEI , suddenly they are not considered a minority. They do not get race based scholarship. They do not qualify for affirmative action. They do not qualify for “race conscious hiring” or any sort of “equity programs” whether it be home loans or healthcare subsidies.

- They are largely considered creepy by society due to a horrible reputation of India overall.

I can go on and on, but at the end of the day this is where I stand. Please share your thoughts.
