I'm having trouble figuring out the difference between initiative and speed. I thought initiative determined starting spots on the ATB bar, and then speed determined how frequently they were on the ATB bar. But after reading the manual I see initiative affects the ATB bar, however I did not see anything about speed in the manual. So what exactly does a creature's speed do?
