I've got a small 10 inch electric Yardworks chainsaw that has an auto oiler in it. When I add oil the oil cap area overflows and nothing appears in the oil tank.

Any suggestions as to why it's not filling the reservoir, there's nothing to oil the chain with and it starts to get really hot.
