Which saw should I get?

Having never owned or needed a chainsaw, I've been looking to get one to do some yard work for myself and inlaws. A friend of mine is telling me to just get a Vevor and be done with it, being that it's not something I'll be using all the time. That being said, I thinking rather have something that is serviceable if needed and if I do more with it that its a good one. Been looking at the Echo 4910 & 3510/3520 and some similarly priced units. As an all around, which others should I look into? Will be used to remove some smaller trees 10-12" diameter at the moment as well as trimming some branches. Thanks in advance

Husqvarna 353 that I've had for 15 years was lost in garage fire

I lost my Husqvarna 353 early last week in a garage fire. It always ran good for a modern saw. Now that that is gone, would an early '80s Homelite 330 be an ok replacement? I received the older Homelite 330 from a relative and it still has the original box and tags that came on it and never had any fluids in it or ever ran. It's new old stock. A couple people said I should just put it on a shelf but one person said I should let it rip through some firewood sometime. Just wondering what your thoughts are on using that as a replacement for the 353. Thank you.

For the $300 this cost me it’s awesome.

Bought a 660 clone for $300 with bar and chain off of eBay. Fired up on the 4th pull. For a 2 times a year I’ll actually need a saw this size it’s a good bang for the buck. I’m a die hard Stihl fan but can’t justify spending the money on a real 660.

Need a chainsaw recommendation

I’d like to stay around $200 and I see the Stihl MS171 or MS172 for $219. I have other Stihl equipment so it makes sense to stay brand loyal.

I have a large tree already fell to clean up and turn to firewood. I don’t really have any other trees to cut down. I like the smaller 16” models for safety and practicality but I am concerned if I go with a small one would I regret not going for the bigger one later down the road?

Any other models I should look at in my price point?

I have a dewalt pole saw and I hate it so I’m not interested in battery powered models.

New in original box Homelite 330 chainsaw.

I received this vintage maybe early '80s Homelite 330 from an older relative. It is complete with the powerhead, bar, chain and owner's manual. The box isn't the greatest but it kept it in new shape. Can anyone tell me any basic information on these and what type of chainsaw they were? Also, what would be the first thing to do to assemble and get it running? My regular saw as a Husqvarna 353, that I'm used to.

Chainsaw

wondering if the dewalt chainsaw are any good.
just be used for general propert work like cutting small bushes and branches around field gayes and small whinny trees around 1-4 inches thick
have a petrol chainsaw for larger trees just wanted something handy for light work
if so which is the best to go for to 30cm bar or a larger flexvolt one
i have 4 6ah flexvolt batter and some 18v batteries
