Planning to apply for either a Metrobank or RCBC credit card since they have an ongoing NAFFL promo. Slim chance parin ba of getting approved since I now work as an independent contractor?

- I have 2 active cards (Oldest is going 2 years with BPI).

- Always paid on time and in full. Both cards got a CLI this year, though the limits are not yet in the 6-digit range.

Also, if ever I'll go with RCBC CC - I want to apply for a higher tier card sana since nameet ko naman requirements. Would it be a good move to apply straight for a higher-tier RCBC card, or should I stick to a Gold card to be safe? Any thoughts?
