Anxiety seeing how many eggs fertilised
I have just had my first egg retrieval - short protocol, aged 37. We got 11 eggs. My husband and I have never seen a positive pregnancy test. We are classed as unexplained fertility / all results were as expected or better, and there is no male factor. I’ve had an exploratory HSG and a hysteroscopy and both found no issues.
We have improved our health but have always both been in the healthy range for BMI, before we started.
I know a lot of people refer to the first round as diagnostic, but today the embryologist said there is a chance we could have compatibility issues,
Given we’ve never been pregnant before.
Up until now we have both been incredibly positive and hopeful. I guess I’m looking to see if anyone in the same boat can share a positive story please?
