Neopets Vintage Marketing Presentation (2002)
Had this for a bit, took a bit of time to rip & upload! Thought it would be a cool/fun thing to release publicly.
It primarily features interviews conducted by staff with users at Sanrio store in California in late 2002, but also features a reel of site features, games, partnerships, and a few silly things ("Atilla the Lupe", lol)
These sorts of things were released to potential business partners (advertisers, merch partners, etc.) on DVD at trade fairs, business meetings, & such. Similar presentations exist for the years 2000 (CD ROM) and 2003 (DVD), but I could not find them at the moment!
This upload was ripped from a personal copy of the DVD. I hate when people have these sorts of things and just sit on them, so I hope that by releasing this it will at best be of value to someone, and at least be a little entertaining.
Sadly it seems like all the users or pets mentioned or pictured (in-game screenshots) are long gone, but who knows! Were you featured in this presentation? Do you still play?
Anyway, I hope someone gets a kick out of this. Enjoy this timescapsule / early 2000s cringe!
