Forgiver but not forgiven
So I’m going through a break up and it’s absolutely devastating. What hurts the most is that I would forgive him for everything he would do intentionally or unintentionally. For example he failed to mention he was good friends with a girl he slept with. I had a hard time accepting it but we talked about it and worked on letting it go and I did. There were other things that happened but I addressed my concerns and we would work through them. He however never brought any issues to my attention and led to him having resentment towards me and told me that a bunch of small things made him not want to be with me. How can this actually be possible ? He wasn’t open to working things through and said we weren’t compatible all of a sudden.
When I saw him he showed no emotion towards me, it was like I was a stranger all while I was holding back tears.
Could it be that he met someone else and is only looking for any reason to leave ?
