Need advice: maging doctor or chem eng for practicality?
Hi so i’m currently an incoming BS MLS and i’ll be using it as premed. Lately nagdadalawang isip po ako sa decision ko mag doctor, it’s not that I lack passion for it but I’m thinking about the time it takes and how I can’t help my parents agad. Aside from being a doctor dream ko rin po mag migrate in a different country. My parents are supportive naman of me of being a doctor and wala naman masyadong financial barrier (i have a scholarship) and nasa middle class naman po kami but nanghihinayang po ako sa oras. What if I chose chemical engineering instead, edi sana nakatulong ako sa kanila and nakapag abroad na agad? It has always been my dream, ever since bata ako, na maging doctor. And I appreciate what you need to go through in that kind of job despite how mentally challenging it is. I believe it is the job that suits me the most and what I imagine myself most into. But okay rin naman po ako sa chem eng since it’s practical and I’m sure I’ll learn to love it rin naman. Should I continue to pursue the path I’ve always chosen for myself or try chem eng instead? Yung practicality lang po talaga concern ko. It’s really stressing me out and wala po ako masabihan na may experience regarding this, hopefully meron po mag bigay ng advice.
