Everchill 12v fridge not working
My 2024 Jayco everchill 12v fridge stopped working our last camping trip. The bolts ended up being loose due to driving and the wires got fried 6 inches or so. Pictures are attached. We spliced the damaged wires, crimped, and put back onto the 12v panel. The solar reads 13.6-14.6v so it’s getting enough voltage to power the fridge.
We tried doing a hard reset by unplugging our solar and battery for a few hours and still no luck. We attempted to connect shore power as well. The fridge light will turn on but it’s not cooling at all, I don’t hear anything come on when we change the settings from 0-7.
Just wondering what we should do, if it’s more cost effective to get a new 12v fridge, should I take to a dealer or mobile mechanic to diag, or if there’s any other home remedies I should try.
