Hello all! First time poster here and i’m also posting on behalf of my dear mom. She lives in western central Indiana in the middle of nowhere, in the woods. Yesterday evening she kept hearing really strange sounds and cries but they were really far away and didn’t pick up well on a recording. Well this morning she went out to water her garden and the sounds came back, this time MUCH louder and MUCH closer.

Any help trying to figure out WHAT in the world could possibly be making these sounds would be appreciated. Thank you all so much!

EDIT: It was kids with a speaker and a microphone 🤦‍♀️ They were caught red handed. So much for that mystery! Thanks again everyone lol 😭
