Vampire movie - Non mainstream

My old neighbor collected zombie/vampire/horror movies and would always let us borrow a cd for movie nights (kinda like our own personal block buster) but lost contact with him so cannot ask personally.

I have been trying to find this Vampire movie for the longest but always get the same blade/underworld suggestions. I think it was early 00's, maybeeee late 90's. Some vivid scenes I remember:

* I think the plot revolves around a detective trying to solve dissapearance of a young woman

* vampiress coming out of a club or an alleyway in either all red/leather outfit, high ponytail

* Scene of an older vampire kinda like a monster vampire with a black cloak and hoodie watching club from ceiling

* There is a scene where the detective covers inside of his car with tinfoil during a stakeout

* I think the last scene is of said detective now in an asylum, security gaurds are watching him via cameras and see that he is talking to someone under his bed - it is said missing girl now a vampire but guards cant see her.

Any suggestions welcome!

What’s one tip/advice you wish someone told you earlier?

Currently training for my first TCS New York City Marathon and realizing marathon training is a whole different world mentally and physically. I’m still pretty new to running seriously and recently learned the hard way not to underestimate hills after aggravating some knee bursitis from a hilly Central Park 5K 😅 so now I’m trying to train smarter, not just harder.

Would love to hear:

  • advice you wish you got earlier
  • biggest beginner mistakes to avoid
  • recovery tips that made the biggest difference
  • things that helped you stay consistent mentally during training

Especially interested in anything that helped newer/slower runners build endurance without getting injured.
