[TOMT][PSA/YouTube Video][2000s-2010s] Disturbing war/crime awareness commercial set in a suburban neighborhood
I remember watching a really disturbing PSA/humanitarian-awareness type video on YouTube years ago. I think it was meant to bring awareness to rape/violence in African conflict zones or war crimes in general.
The video started in a normal suburban neighborhood/home, then suddenly armed men arrived in a helicopter or military-style vehicle. The whole point was basically “what if this happened to you?” or “what if it happened here?” to make Western viewers imagine war crimes happening in their own neighborhood.
I remember it being extremely graphic and shocking for a PSA. The father in the house was c*strated and the eldest daughter was assaulted, I believe the youngest was able to escape. I also vaguely remember the message being tied to Africa or conflict zones there.
It was live-action, not animated, and probably from the late 2000s or early 2010s.
Does anyone remember this or know what organization/campaign it was from?
